93 year old Dorothy Mansholt of Litchfield passed away Friday, April 17.  Funeral services for Dorothy Mansholt, former mayor of Litchfield, will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at 11:30 at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield.  Visitation will also be held Wednesday at 10:30 at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will follow Wednesday’s services in Elmwood Cemetery in Litchfield.

Funeral services for retired Litchfield fire chief Bill Bergen will be held Friday, April 17, at 11:00 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Burial will follow in Elm Lawn Cemetery. 86-year-old John Stephens of Greenfield, passed away Sunday March 22.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War era. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 28 at 11 AM, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto  Visitation will be from 9:30 until the time of service.  Interment ceremony to follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto, with the VFW Post 1308 performing military honors.
